Off-road to street legal, with a straight answer first

We get dirt bikes, UTVs, and snowmobiles titled, registered, and plated for road use in states whose laws genuinely allow it, for a flat $549 service fee. Before any money moves, the eligibility quiz tells you whether your state has a real conversion path or whether a plate would be decoration. About forty states have a workable route; eight effectively block it, and we name them below instead of hiding them.

Effectively blocked for road use

We still title machines from these states legally out of state for ownership, insurance, and resale, with the road-use limits in writing.

Questions people ask us

How much does it cost to make an OHV street legal?

Our service fee is $549 flat for a dirt bike, UTV, or snowmobile: the title path, registration, and plate. Street equipment runs $200 to $800 in parts depending on the machine, and government fees are usually under $100, itemized on your quote.

Which states allow street-legal UTVs and dirt bikes?

Montana, South Dakota, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Oklahoma, Wyoming, and a growing list have real conversion statutes. Utah is the strongest for UTVs specifically. California, Texas, New York, New Jersey, and Florida effectively block conversions, and we say so before taking your money.

Will an out-of-state plate make my machine legal at home?

It makes the machine legally titled, insured, and sellable, which has real value. It does not override your home state's road rules: where conversions are blocked, riding on public roads stays illegal whatever the plate says. Every quote states which side of that line you are on.

What equipment does a street-legal conversion need?

The common denominator: DOT headlight with high and low beam, brake light and tail light, mirrors, horn, DOT tires, and in many states turn signals, a speedometer, and a plate light. UTVs often add a windshield or eye protection requirement. Your order includes the exact checklist for your state.
